Hello! I’m Elvery Tinsley (she/her), I am committed to empowering women, teens, and couples toward improved mental health and harmony in their lives.
My journey into therapy began with a deep passion for helping people create strong, meaningful relationships. I specialize in guiding you to navigate relationships with your partner and improve the most important relationship and that is with yourself. Whether you're looking to reignite the spark in your romantic life, work through conflict, or build a deeper connection with who you are, my services are tailored to meet you where you are.
Alongside my clinical work, I founded Love Minus Limits to create events and build community for Black couples seeking deeper connection.
My areas of expertise include marriage and family relationships, parenting, teens, anxiety, depression, self-care, and trauma. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solutions Focus Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness to tailor therapy to each of my client’s needs.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy date nights with my husband of 26 years, family time with our three adult children, traveling, and self-care. My guilty pleasure and expensive hobby is retail therapy, online!
